FUN

One of the many blessings from my trip to India was meeting Pam. I've done lots of things to improve my overall quality of life but the 30-Day wellness challenge I just completed with her was life changing. I was ok with my weight, but ya know, we can always eat better....plus I had a terrible monkey mind and struggled with my long to do list (yes we all have them). My thoughts were all over the place. After talking with Pam about how she incorporates a yoga mindset into her program. I decided to give it a try in what was easily one of the busiest 30 days I can remember:)) I could go on and on, but here it is: I think EVERYONE should do her wellness program as it addresses body mind and soul. I have passed the 30 days but I have no intention of going backwards, not to say I won't have plenty of fun along the way as this program allows for fun and freedom!!

COMPLETE

First, let me say that this was truly a wonderful experience. The program was thoughtful, detailed and felt very complete, covering body, mind and spirit. Also I loved having a resource of recipes to work with and will continue coming back to them. AND I enjoyed getting to know you. I'm a little amazed that I was able to break some habits that felt pretty ingrained at the start of this program. I thought I'd really crave wine, but now don't even think about it (till Friday when I'm happy to have a cocktail). I've been fine to substitute an apple for chips; mindless snacking has lost whatever temporary appeal it once had. And I'm liking eggs for breakfast. In weak moments, I've gotten outside with the dog or gone upstairs for a bath. The few times I've fallen off the wagon, I've felt bad and tried to remind myself that it's not worth the price physically or mentally. I feel much more in control of my impulses and at peace with the fact that weight loss is slow and what's more important is feeling healthy and energized. I'm also proud to have cooked so many meals rather than ordering pizza at the last minute. Had never made cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles. Delicious. - E

When I first met Pam I was motivated, but skeptical, that I could transform my health and my life after so many temporary and ultimately failed attempts. With Pam's guidance and support, I learned to "eat from the heart" and understand that putting myself first allowed me to be a better professional, wife, mother and friend. GRATEFUL

I am fealing wonderful. Thank you so much for your inspirational work. Even though I am lagging quite a bit on my homework assignments, I am grateful for knowing your suggested relaxation ways for me. They are all printed on my desk and will get to them one day. I am finding myself going to bed at 9pm instead of my usual 10:30pm since I have started this program and I'm thinking that this is what my body needs right now instead of homework. Life tells us that there is never a perfect time for anything. We have to begin where we are and show ourselves some compassion along the way. Thank you for being a guide, a cheerleader, and a truly caring soul! You've made this an interesting, fun and inspiring process -- and I love that this is a way of life, not a diet. ENGAGED

One year ago I participated in Pam's 7-day Detox and literally found it life-changing. Up until then I thought I ate relatively healthy, but still felt sluggish, struggled with sleep, and had some digestive issues. One year later I'm sleeping better, have more energy, and my digestion has improved (less bloating and indigestion). Another unanticipated result - my cholesterol level dropped 47 points, bringing it into the normal range! I was able to avoid going on medication to lower it. The program provides a holistic roadmap for incorporating heathy eating and lifestyle habits into your life. Unlike other programs, you can eat while you detox! Instead of feeling deprived, you are encouraged to add all kinds of nutritious foods into your meals and snacks. LIGHTER

This has been a wonderful experience for me, in pretty much every way. When I started, I felt heavy, physically and emotionally. I feel so much lighter now. I've connected to what makes me happy in a meaningful way, and I'm better able to not only see what I want, but to feel comfortable making those choices. Physically, cutting out the sugar and gluten has made a huge impact - I've lost about 10 pounds at this point, and I feel strong and light - never bloated or sluggish. I do have dairy occasionally, generally in the form of shredded parm, and having that in moderation feels fine. In mind and soul, I just feel gentler and more content in the present. Despite all the transitions and uncertainty in my life, I don't feel anxious the way I have in the past. There is a comfort I can find within myself, and I know that everything around me will resolve itself. I move slower and find so much pleasure in my daily routines, like taking care of my daughter and cooking. When I read your email, I actually asked my husband if he's noticed a difference in me - he said I seem happier and more energetic. (Half way through the 30 days her husband had also lost 10 pounds!) - E

HUMMING

Overall, I don’t think I have felt this good in years – the best word I can use to describe it is that I feel like every part of my body is “humming ” (not like with music but with a quiet energy). Tasks feel less daunting, I am more patient with my kids and my mistakes, and I’ve lost about 4 pounds. I cannot thank you enough for being the reason why I feel this way right now – I will do quite a bit not to let it go!

DELICIOUS

FREEING

I definitely feal free when going to the grocery store!! I used to dread it and even avoid it! Now I actually look forward to it! It's very freeing to not be stressed about choosing the right foods for me and passing on the " lunch treats" for the kids. I think this is just such an important step for me. - J
