Hi! I'm Pam Gross, a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified Yoga Teacher, and I'm just like you... someone trying to live the best life possible. From my own experience and after working with hundreds of clients on their own wellness journeys, I know being healthy isn't just about food, exercise and sticking with the plan. It's about not losing yourself in the flurry of life. It's about making yourself your top priority - always. It's about developing an acute awareness of the senses in your body. It's about feeding your spirit to experience real joy.
Finding this state of authentic wellness inspired me to create my whole-life wellness program and my recipe blog called The Bread & Buddha. While I believe that cooking is a beautiful way to connect to the earth and our place in it, I also know there is a big life to live outside of the grocery store and kitchen. So heeding my clients' pleas to just cook for them, The Bread & Buddha Kitchen was born.
I'm beyond proud to offer you good-for-you prepared foods that I create and cook as if you were coming over for dinner. Making good food choices is simply a practice in honoring what you truly want. It is my intention to make this process easier and more enjoyable, so that you can get back to those things in life that truly fill you up.
Think of your body as a machine. To encourage a positive output from the body, we want input that won't muck up the process. When you give your body good ingredients, your body will respond in a good way. This means you may began to think sharper, sleep better, feel lighter, smile bigger, have more energy and feel fully awake. Our menus include good-for-you ingredients that are...
We use fresh whole foods and avoid gluten, dairy and refined sugar. We do use raw honey and maple syrup to sweeten some items.
Simply... we strive to provide all organic ingredients. We support local purveyors whenever possible and seek out the best quality ingredients - always! If organics are not available, we source the cleanest option or swap out the item for something else that is organic. Ingredients can change, so please read labels carefully for a complete list of ingredients.
Our menus are designed to provide the right mix of protein, healthy carbs, healthy fats, veggies and fiber to help the body function optimally. When you eat a balanced, nutrient-dense diet, counting calories, fat, fiber, carbs, sugar and protein isn't really necessary. So we don't do it. Simply, give your body what is truly craves, let go of the numbers and thoroughly enjoy your fresh, delicious food. It's the fuel you need to support you on your journey to live your big, beautiful life!
