Hi! I'm Pam Gross, a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified Yoga Teacher, and I'm just like you... someone trying to live the best life possible. True health isn't just about food, exercise and sticking with the plan. It's about not losing yourself in the flurry of life. It's about making yourself your top priority - always. It's about developing an acute awareness of the senses in your body. It's about feeding your spirit to experience real joy.

Finding this state of authentic wellness inspired me to create my whole-life wellness program and my recipe blog called The Bread & Buddha. Heeding my clients' pleas to just cook for them, The Bread & Buddha Kitchen was born.

As quickly as BBK ramped up, my thriving beautiful organic prepared food business disintegrated before my very eyes due to the pandemic. Heartbroken as I was, this forced reset gave me space to realign and find some much-needed balance in my own life.

Following my true desire to teach people how to live a beautiful and healthful life, I've gone back to my teaching roots and evolved BBK into a virtual cooking studio and wellness workspace. Through my online offerings, you will learn how to fill your fridge and heart with foods that nourish your body and your spirit. Having a front row seat to see my clients' hearts open and smiles widen is a true privilege and a special exchange.

My process is relatable, practical, sustainable – and enjoyable. Learn more below and on my Classes page and let your amazing wellness journey begin.

Pam is the real deal - practicing what she preaches."

- L.S. on The 5-Day Deep Cleanse

NOURISH YOUR BODY

"I went in for the food and left with so much more!  This week has made me rethink how I eat, how I take care of myself and how that affects every aspect of my life.  It has given me nuggets of wisdom that will stay with me for the rest of my life! "

- K.F. on The 5-Day Deep Cleanse

Choosing the right foods for you is the first step in achieving whole-life wellness. It's the fuel that propels you. My lifelong mission to heal my migraines had me going raw, vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian, Paleo, Keto, Ketotarian, gluten and dairy free. Instead of getting better, I developed a messed up relationship with food. When I'd finally had enough, I took matters into my own hands. I became a functional wellness coach, used my instincts and intuition as my guides, and got back to feeling human again.

My wellness philosophy is based on functional medicine that says our bodies need essential ingredients to work optimally. Functional medicine focuses on prevention and root causes, not symptoms. Functional medicine is about healing and wellness, not treating and illness. Functional medicine respects the network of systems in the body and acknowledges that when you affect one system, you affect them all. Functional medicine also recognizes that we are only just beginning to truly understand the intricacies and complexities of the human body. That means, functional medicine isn't afraid to change protocols based on new findings.

As a functional wellness coach, I am fascinated by the science and am constantly learning to offer you the most current thinking on wellness today. Furthermore, I like to test the science, so I can speak firsthand about how it affects the body. Personally, I know functional medicine works. I used to get 3-4 migraines a month. Now they are down to 3-4 a year! My own healing journey inspired me to teach others how your unique self needs to be fed to live with a palpable sense of vitality, vibrancy, and authenticity - yes, even while emptying the dishwasher.

FEED YOUR SPIRIT

"Pam, your class was incredible yesterday. I loved every second of it and was the perfect fit for me. Today I feel awesome!  Thank you!!!"

- C.H. on my yoga class

Growing up, my mom played tennis almost every day. She always said "tennis saved her." Yoga is my tennis. Like most, I came to yoga to reap the physical benefits, but became hooked as the practice revealed many life lessons that have allowed me to thoroughly enjoy and experience life off the mat. Decades later, I continue to find solace and inspiration in this special space.

As a teacher of yoga, I seek to stay true to the original intention of yoga to create awareness that yoga cares more about the shape of your life than the shape of your body. I teach a steady flow that connects the classical intention of the asanas to the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits we experience today. Join me to practice moving with the breath to lengthen and strengthen both our bodies and our lives. Together we'll find connection and calm through this moving meditation to encourage a more "heartful" pace off the mat. Expect a rhythmic cadence to facilitate a deeper connection.

I received my 200-hr yoga certification through Moksha Yoga in Chicago and have studied with master teachers Noah Maze, Jason Crandell, Annie Carpenter, Kathyrn Budig, Gary Kraftsow, Gabriel Halpern, and Tias Little, and spiritual healer Ramaa Krishnan
